Water Heater Leak
Clients called us because of water damage in the basement. They suspected water heater. The effects of the water could clearly be seen in the damage near the water heater. Upon first inspection however, they couldn't see an actual leak in the water heater.
So we were called in to take a closer look at the heater to determine culpability. Once we removed the outer shell, the water leak was found by a weld on the inner tank.

Warning from the Underwriters Laboratory
UL is the trusted source across the globe for product compliance. They have announced two product advisories recently:
- Christmas decorative outfits manufactured by Dongguan Beauty Star Lights Company do not comply with UL's safety requirements and may pose a risk of shock or fire.
- Certain thermal detectors could potentially bear a counterfeit certification listing mark for Canada. These thermal detectors have not been evaluated for safety by ULC.
