Technology Update
We are pleased to announce our new Remote Investigation Service.
Appliance Analysis was sent a dishwasher water inlet valve for testing. This water inlet valve had leaked water causing severe water damage to the home. Our investigation is to determine if the water inlet valve failed due to a manufacturing defect or for some other reason. Laboratory testing (as shown in the photograph) found the said water leak. A crack was found in the brass fitting on the valve. At this time in the investigation we will be using a metallurgist to help determine if this was a metal failure, stress fracture or a freeze crack.
