Our web site was completed and put "on line". If you have not had a chance to visit our web site please take a few moments to do so. We've created a Video Library, and have a collection of Case Studies and Resources for you to review.

Technology Update

We have been Digital Video Taping and burning to DVD's for three years. So in 2005 we upgraded our 35mm photography to digital photography. Along with the digital photography we have installed voice activated typing software. Now I am able to "talk" to the photographic bibliography.

Another useful computer upgrade was our 30" flat panel monitor. This is a great tool for viewing x-rays from a CD. The larger monitor also makes the photographic bibliography production much easier. During the photographic bibliography production you are able to have large individual images while adding the text to each image. You are also able to have a larger quantity of photographs displayed during your "organizing" process. Isn't technology great!

IAAI logo2005 Training Events

I was able to attend three IAAI training events in 2005. They were:

  • The 18th Annual MNIAAI Fire Investigation Conference in St. Cloud, MN in March 2005
  • The 56th Annual IAAI Seminar in Washington D.C. in April of 2005
  • The AHAM/IAAI Training, San Marcos, Texas.
All three were terrific learning experiences.
